The Heart of a Man

The first was like a Lion and had Eagle's wings.
I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked
and it was lifted up from the earth
and made stand upon the feet as a Man
and a Man's Heart was given to it.

A couple of years ago there was a famous black man who was a boxer, I think, who ran into some financial trouble and almost got kicked out of his house and he said it was the scariest thing that he has ever experienced.  Now here's a guy who could probably beat the snot out of just about anyone on the planet with one hand tied behind his back, literally, and he said that the scariest thing he has ever faced was the prospect of going homeless and living on the streets.

I can attest to those sentiments exactly.  Going homeless was, without a doubt, the most difficult thing I have ever done in my life to date.  This, by the way, tells you a lot about my old man.  Some say he was just a good preacher or teacher but they have absolutely no clue as to what he is like cause he went homeless on his own without even batting an eye.

To give you some perspective about this, when I was in Basic Training for the US Air Force, some of the guys were crying at night the first week until they got used to the new surroundings and being away from home for the first time while having a total stranger yelling and screaming at them all day long from a nose away. I, however, didn't cry at all and in fact was pretty much glad to be out of Vermont. On the other hand, the first night I went homeless in Denver, I was just about in tears, wondering how I was gonna support myself and not having a roof over my head or four walls around me to protect me while I slept, and not owning anything except the clothes on my back and no transportation if I felt I needed to relocate for some reason.

Anyways, if this were just a photo op for them, he would have gone homeless in the middle of the summer when he could have sat on the sidewalk drinking a couple of beers all night.  But what does this boy do?  He goes homeless, literally, in the dead of winter and, in the process, by calling people's attention to the plight of the homeless, probably just saved a lot of lives this winter.

Now, I don't know if this was the fulfillment of the prophecy at the top of this post or not but it certainly symbolizes the fulfillment when it occurs.  Some interpreters say that the verse is describing Secular Humanism in the life of any given nation but this interpretation belies the context for the passage takes a Beast that tears everything in its path in pursuit of its various appetites and then, all of a sudden, the Beast stops and stands on its feet like a man and is given the Heart of a Man.  This is exactly the same as Nebachadnezzar returning to his sanity after seven years living like a beast and he realizes there is a God in Heaven and that he, as a King, is supposed to reign in Justice and Equity which takes a certain amount of human compassion and in the article below you have this portrayed for us by this Crown Prince of the Anglos.

Those two boys are gonna be the salvation of the Anglo Saxon Monarchy and Empire if it's saved at all and they can both hold their heads high cause their Mom must be very proud of them and, one way or another, those two heads were born to wear a Crown.

Prince William spends night on London streets

LONDON – A cold alley in central London is a far cry from a palace — but it was the spot Prince William chose to sleep to highlight the plight of homeless British teenagers.

He spent a chilly night near Blackfriars Bridge last week with Seyi Obakin, the chief executive of British homeless charity Centrepoint. William has been the charity's patron since 2005.

"I cannot, after one night, even begin to imagine what it must be like to sleep rough on London's streets night after night," William said Tuesday. "Poverty, mental illness, drug and alcohol dependancy and family breakdown cause people to become and then stay homeless.

"I hope that by deepening my understanding of the issue, I can help do my bit to help the most vulnerable on our streets."
