So, Wednesday night, I wake up around 3 in the morning or so and couldn't get back to sleep so I had a smoke break and something to eat and I'm siting there and ended up coughing and just after that a pack of Coy Dogs starting howling.
Turns out that they thought I was a deer or something and came over to investigate. I had a chunk of turkey that I had given to the Mouse who didn't eat the whole thing, so I decided it would be expedient to toss the remainder over the bank which I did.
About ten minutes later or so, as I am trying to get back to sleep, I hear this growl and it just about made my hair stand on edge. The 'wolves' smelled the turkey and wanted some and then they found me when they got there.
I checked for tracks the next day and found a couple. one was about the size of a Shepherd and the other a little smaller so I dubbed them Gery and Freki from the north mythology.
Course, this also ties in to Fenris from the Norse Mythology and my Demophaen Mythos, but I guess that's another story...
